How do I update my credit card details?

To update your credit card details or add a new payment method go to your "Payment" tab in the GymNOW app menu.

Can I get a receipt for my GymNOW pass?

A:

Your receipts will be emailed upon each purchase. For additional request, please Contact Us.

I think I have been charged the wrong amount on my credit card. Who do I talk to?

A:

Please Contact Us and we will quickly resolve any inqueries you have regarding charges.

Q:

Where can I see my billing history?

A:

All passes you have purchased can be viewed on the "Purchases" tab in your GymNOW mobile app.

Q:

Are my credit card details safe?

A:

Yes, all credit card details are stored through our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe is widely regarded as the leading payment-processing platform, processing billions of dollars worth of payments for some of the world’s largest companies. To learn more about Stripe, click here.

Q:

How do I know which gyms use GymNOW?

A:

All gyms in the GymNOW network are shown on the GymNOW app map. Gyms are differentiated by color depending on pass availability. Blue icons indicate that passes are available while grey icons indicate that passes are not available at that time.

Q:

How long do GymNOW passes last?

A:

Passes must be checked-in within 2 hours of of purchase. Once you are at the gym or health club of your choosing, you may stay for the duration of your workout. Gyms utilize dynamic pricing to fill slow times. The time limit helps ensure those who purchase a pass during a slow time do not arrive during peak hours.

Q:

Is there a commitment with GymNOW?

A:

There is no commitment to GymNOW. Users may delete the app at anytime and will not be charged.

Q:

What does GymNOW cost per month?

A:

$0. With GymNOW, you are only charged when you purchase a pass. Passes range from $5 – $15, and are only charged upon purchase. Depending on how many passes you purchase, your monthly cost will vary.

Q:

How many times can I use GymNOW at a given gym?

A:

GymNOW has no visitation limits.

Where can I use GymNOW?

A:

Individuals who download the free mobile app, will see all GymNOW partner gyms in their immediate area. GymNOW is ever expanding and their network of gyms is growing daily. GymNOW users may purchase day passes to any gym within the GymNOW network.

Q:

If I get a gym to enroll, do I get a reward?

A:

Yes. If you get a gym to enroll, make sure they report your name and email when they sign up. GymNOW will reward you with 3 free gym passes.

How much are passes?

A:

Passes vary by what the gym wants to price them at. Passes filtering is available to quickly find gyms in your price range. Gyms have the freedom to set prices based on current demand, therefore prices may fluctuate throughout the day.

Q:

Why are passes different prices?

A:

Pass prices are set by the individual gym, not GymNOW. A gym determines their price based on various factors such as the amenities offered at the gym, gym traffic and time of day, all contribute toward each gym’s pricing scheme. The pass price of an individual is subject to change at any time. Gyms utilize dynamic pricing to reflect real-time market demand. For that reason, you may be able to purchase a pass at a lower price during slow times in comparison to peak hours.

Q:

How do I make sure the gym has what I need?

A:

Gyms provide a list of all their amenities. Using the GymNOW mobile app, users are able to filter their gym selection by their choice of specific amenities. Upon selecting a gym, their gym profile will become visible to the user, including a complete list of their amenities. At GymNOW, we aim to provide the ideal gym to each and every user.

Q:

How do I filter the gyms around me?

A:

Gyms can be filtered in two ways:

1) Gyms can be filtered by price, located at the bottom of the map.

2) Gyms may also be filtered by specific amenities (up to 3). Amenitiy filtering is done through the "Filter" icon in the top right corner on the homescreen map. Filtering removes all gyms that do not fit your search criteria.

Why do passes expire within 2 hours?

A:

Passes expire within 2 hours for both user and gym benefit. Using GymNOW, gyms utilize dynamic pricing to assign pass quantity and value. All gyms have slow periods. With GymNOW, gyms can fill those slow times with inexpensive GymNOW passes. During peak hours, a gym may want to raise their pass price or turn off pass availability all together. This allows users the ability to visit gyms for a discounted rate during slow times. This also helps manage peak hours and alleviates overcrowding at popular gyms.

Q:

I purchased a pass, and the gym is closed, what now?

A:

First, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please notify us immediately so we can notify the gym. Once again, we are sorry for this inconvenience and will contact the gym to ensure this does not happen again.

In order to make sure this never happens again, make sure to check the gym's "Staffed Hours" that are provided in the app and purchase your passes accordingly.

Q:

Do I need to have my phone when I go to the gym?

A:

Yes. Your digital pass is on your phone. You must show your pass to the front desk attendant to check-in. This prevents fraud and ensures correct accounting.

How do I check-in with my pass?

A:

Simply show your purchased digital pass to the front desk attendant. Gym check-in takes seconds and you're free to a workout.

Q:

I purchased a pass, but didn't recieve a digital pass, what's up?

A:

What is my active pass used for?

A:

Your active pass is used for gym check-in. When arriving at the gym of your purchased pass, you must show your digital pass to the front desk attendant. Front desk attendants have a matching profile on their “Pending” passes list. This allows gyms to prevent fraud and ensures correct accounting.

Q:

I purchased a pass, why isn't it located in my purchased pass tab?

A:

Your 24-hour window may have passed. If it is within 2-hours of purchasing the pass and your pass is not visible contact GymNOW and/or the gym you purchased the pass to.
